Alias Welcomes 2 New Staff Members

Mar 10, 2015 | Company News

With the expansion of Alias this year into be being able to offer affordable crew members to clients; as well as addressing our already incredibly busy workload, Alias welcomes 2 new members to the team. Giles Cahalane and Callum Bannister join us in a Technician/Driver and crew role. Both have valuable on set experience, Giles in London, Callum in his native Scotland but both have a desire to expand their knowledge working with the latest camera technologies and building their on set hours. Giles began life in London as a Personal Trainer after moving down from Royal Leamington Spa 7 years ago. After discovering a love for making films, Giles switched vocations and has spent the last 3 years working his way up the on set ladder from runner to camera assisting and op-ing on recent shoots for BMG Research and an Aldo Zilli shoot.

Callum is very new to London following his move from North of the border where he cut his teeth as a Camera Assistant and Operator for BBC shows and productions for Channel 4. By joining Alias, he hopes to expand his knowledge beyond the Canon XF305 and C300 which he has previously used on shoots, hoping to eventually become a fully fledged DOP.

Both men have fit straight into the Alias family and are already being hired as crew for shoots our clients involving Alias equipment.
