Filming in Hackney Wick.

Apr 2, 2015 | Company News

Nestled between the ever growing Media Hub of East London and the beautiful and pristine Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Hackney Wick is an urban gem that is fast becoming one of the go to areas to film in London. Formally an incredibly large part of London’s industrial scene, the former warehouses and large units have become fantastic spaces for artists and media types to create and showcase their works. With the amazing former factory buildings, dominating the landscape over standard residential housing, Hackney Wick has a backdrop that can bolster any production being filmed here.

Alias Hire is fortunate to be located smack bang in the centre of this growing hub that see’s some off London’s favourite go to spots including the Crate Brewery and Pizzeria, the Yard Theatre and Stour Space Art Centre. Located in Queens Yard, White Post lane we are conveniently found just a minutes’ walk from the Hackney Wick overground station and just off the A12 giving us fantastic links if you arrive by car or train. If you’re shooting in Hackney Wick be sure to think of Alias Hire for you kit and crew supplies. What better than to have the facilities company on the doorstep of your shoot.
